Tea Party Survey/Upcoming Planning Meeting

Hello Fellow Patriots,

I wanted to thank everyone once again for showing your support for your country by being at the Independence Day Tea Party last Saturday. We had nearly 300 present at the event, despite the thunderstorms outside! That is tremendous for our first event. We were able to sign up quite a few people at the Washington Tea Party as well. For those of you who were at our Tea Party, there is a short online survey where you can give us some feedback that will assist us in planning future events. I hope to begin posting some excerpts from the Tea Party on our website very soon, so stay tuned! I wanted to thank those of you who donated to the Franklin County Patriots on Saturday as well. We appreciate your support!

I also wanted to let everyone know that we will be having an evaluation/planning meeting on the afternoon of July 25th. There are several things that we want to discuss:

1) Finalize Date/Location for Next Tea Party
2) Activities between Tea Parties
3) Ways to Volunteer
4) Establishing Community Groups
5) Evaluation of Independence Day Tea Party

We are open to suggestions for a place to hold this meeting. I expect a nice turnout of people. We could meet at the St. Clair City Park again, but if someone knows of a good indoor location (with air-conditioning) we would certainly be open to it! Once we nail down the location and time I will let everyone know.

Several people asked me Saturday about how they could be involved with the Franklin County Patriots. I will be sending out an email soon and posting some things on our website with specific things that we need.
