Time for Action

Less than two months ago, an appeal was sent out to the mailing list of the Franklin County Patriots. The appeal was for fellow patriots to give an evening to try to spread the word about the Independence Day Tea Party by passing out fliers in the surrounding communities. At that time our mailing list consisted of only about 25 individuals, yet we had almost 20 join us for canvassing. Today our mailing list has grown to nearly 375 people, and we are again making an appeal. The plea is simple: Join us in spreading the word about this great cause. We are all a part of the Franklin County Patriots because we are greatly concerned about the direction our country has taken in recent years. Hundreds of others in our communities share these concerns and would be thrilled to be a part of a group of like-minded patriots. This is our opportunity to let them know we are here.

The Labor Day Tea Party is less than three weeks away. Please join us in this endeavor to tell our communities about the big event. Many of our members have already committed to different areas in the county, but there is still much territory that remains unclaimed. Please do not let the intimidation factor keep you from being involved. If you do not feel comfortable speaking one-on-one with people, we will pair you up with someone who does. In order to cover as much ground as possible, we are advising that you simply leave a flier on each door when possible rather than giving a personal invitation at each home. We also want to put a poster on the window or bulletin board of every business that will allow it. We need all hands on deck.

September 7th will be here before we know it, so we must act now. The first batch of fliers have been printed and are ready for distribution. We have coordinators in five different regions who will act as contact points for you to pick up fliers and select areas to canvas. These coordinators, whose contact information is below, will also have territory maps as well as scripts for those who want them. If you are unable to reach them for some reason, you can always call (636) 451-9668 or send an email to patriots@franklincountypatriots.org.

You can use the “Volunteer to Help” link at the top of the page to sign up to help. Thank you for your ongoing support of the Franklin County Patriots. Your efforts will make this event a huge success.
