This is a video from the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington Township, NJ. According to Michelle Malkin, this video was originally posted by Charisse Carney-Nunes, who is senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a schoolmate of President Obama.”
The Burlington Township school has since put out this letter to parents and families.
Find Ms. Carney-Nunes’ travel itinerary here to see if she will be appearing at a school near you.

I think it’s terrific that our leaders in government are encouraging us students to “be all we can be.” I hope to enlist in the Air Force after graduation, and President Obama is inspiring me to work hard and do well in school.
Jason – My husband was in the USAF for 23 years and I wish you all the best. I’m glad to see young people being inspired by a thoughtful and intelligent President to reach for their personal stars after so many years of hearing nothing but anger and hatred coming from those at the top. I am sure you will serve with honor. Once again, all the best!
First, Jason, Thank you for deciding to enlist in our armed services, protecting the freedoms we take for granite. I am truly grateful. Second. I see nothing wrong teaching children song & dance. It allows them to express themselves. The freedom of creativity. Opening their horizons. Expanding their brains so that when they do become adults they can make their own decisions, not based on narrow mindedness, but a wide variety of things. Lightenen up, what are you afraid of?
Let me see a Harvard Law School graduate versus Michelle Malkin???? That kind of a no-brainer!!
For a non-alarmist view of what was really going on with these kids, check out this Daily Show clip. Or you can just go on believing that this was socialist indoctrination. Whatever.

Jason,
Good for you. Just take note of the oath that you take before you ship off to bootcamp. You will see that you are taking an oath to the Constitution and that you are only to obey the President and your chain of command as long as they operate within their Constitutional limits. Do not just give blind allegiance to ANYONE. Many of us that voted for Bush soon came to regret it after he became a big spender and gutted our 4th amendment. Here is a quote from one of our Founding Fathers:
“In questions of power… let no more be said of confidence in man but bind him down from his mischief by the chains of the Constitution.”
Thomas Jefferson
I know that this situation is different because this school isn’t funded by the government, but if you want proof of real indoctrination, here it is:

You are right. The link you provided IS a completely different situation.
1. It is in a church youth camp or church school it sounds like its from a pentecostal church.
2. The kids are not singing the praises of Bush as they are of Obama in the above video.
3. The kids from the link you are providing are praying for the President and trying to bless him; reaffirming that we are a nation under God. It makes perfect sense for Christians, or any religion for that matter, to pray for their leader. That is what you would expect from this type of organization. The parents who send their kids to these places know what to expect.
What doesn’t make sense is for teachers in the public sector to operate outside of their job description and take upon themselves the role of the parents and the family; attempting to shape a child’s mind around anything but reading writing, arithmetic, etc…
