For those supporters of the Fair Tax in Missouri, here is an update that was sent out this morning.
HJR-56
Our House bill passed out of the Ways & Means Committee last week but has not been turned into the clerk for further action. Immediate action in the house is critical to our bill staying on track in the 2010 session. We need Speaker Richard to instruct Rep. Sutherland to keep moving the bill forward. Your polite calls or emails encouraging continued advancement ASAP are still needed and appreciated. Here is the contact information you need:
Rep. Ron Richard
Speaker, MO House of Representatives
Phone: 573-751-2173
Fax: 573-526-5813
Email: Ronald.Richard@house.mo.gov
If you can help us call Speaker Richard’s constituents to encourage them to contact the Speaker, please reply to this email.
SJR-29
We have also identified some key members of the MO Senate who are yet undecided how to vote in that body. Please call your senator again this week to reconfirm their support. If you are a constituent of one of the following senators, your polite call of encouragement would be especially helpful. To access their best contact info, please click HERE:
Tom Dempsey – Serving part of St. Charles County (MAP)
Frank Barnitz- Serving counties of Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maries, Montgomery, Osage, Phelps and Pulaski
Wes Shoemyer- Serving counties of Adair, Audrain, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Putnam, Ralls, Schuyler, Scotland and Shelby

Thank you for this information. I have e-mailed both Senator Griesheimer and Representative Ron Richard. This kind of information is helpful to me. I am trying to get politically educated and awaken from my complacency as one of the ‘silent majority’. I can use all the help I can get.
