The legislative session is winding down, and the Health Care Freedom Act, which we have worked so hard to see passed, is still held up in the Senate. There is a call to the Capitol this Tuesday morning to show our support and to let our Senators know once again that Missourians want the opportunity to vote on this in November. Details below:
Please continue to contact the senators, this is critical action to take before tomorrow! They are not hearing from as many of us as needed. Please ask them to do everything necessary to break the filibuster and get this to a vote. Be sure to contact Kevin Engler thank him for his support and ask that he do whatever is necessary to bring this to a vote! There are only 9 days left in this legislative session and this bill has to pass out of the Senate this week! It has to be sent back and voted on by the house before this legislative year is over.
Contact info here. If you click on the name it will take you to their legislative page.

Missouri State Capitol
The people were promised that once the budget was finished, the Senate would go back to SJR25. This is it. The budget was passed and now we expect SJR25 to be addressed and brought to a vote in time to get it back through the House. We must show up so the leaders in the Senate will know that we have not forgotten, we will not give up. The Missouri General Assembly will adjourn for the year on May 14. The passage of SJR25 must be given top priority!
Wear red.
