Great Work
To say that we are proud of the patriotic friends who are part of the Franklin County Patriots would be an extreme understatement. In candidate forums, going door to door, working in phone banks, and volunteering at the polls, we have seen our members hard at work in the battle to win back our republic.
All the networking and training we have all been involved in for these many months was put into action in these elections. This is where the ground will be gained in the battle for our liberties. We must get true conservatives elected and we must keep moving the ball forward. All of us did not get involved in the same campaigns, but many of us were active supporting our preferred candidates.
Campaign Results
Both in our region and in the state we saw some great victories for the conservative cause. We also saw some ideal candidates lose their election bids. We cannot win them all. Obviously the victory that got the most attention was the overwhelming support for Proposition C. Missourians are taking the lead in protecting our citizens from our own federal government.
Observations
One thing is very obvious; we have so much work to do. From local committee persons to Washington DC, we have to take back our country step by step. It will take time, effort, patience, and persistence. Take a break and process the results, but get back in the fight soon. You are needed. We cannot expect politicians to purge this republic of the unconstitutional leaders and legislation. We must remain diligent.
One of the greatest disappointments of this election cycle was the number of “conservatives” who chose to support less conservative candidates because of their perceived ability to win, rather than their principles and core values. Equally frustrating was the interference of political parties in the primaries, resisting those candidates that were not of their choosing. However, this is the nature of politics, and we must work to see this corruption removed.
Thank You
We want to thank every one who has given of their time and energy over these busy months. Let us not be weary in well doing. If your candidate or issue was victorious, savor the win. If you have felt the disappointment and discouragement of defeat, regroup and resolve to continue, but do not withdraw from the fray. We believe that when you stand up and work for candidates who are truly conservative and principled, you are always going to be a winner.

already working on the next jobs and next battle plans. Ya can’t keep a good “man” down.
Jim Durbin of 24th State blocked me because of my anti-Blunt opinions on his blog. Unfortunately, I will be forced to vote for RINO BLUNT if Purguson doesn’t run on an Independant ticket, but the fact is, we “Individual” Tea Partiers are being railroaded. I really believe that. Not just in Missouri, bot all over America in races local and national. I’ve been paying attention for a long time, even contributing to some of the campaigns. I agree that the Tea Party should remain “leaderless”, but the reality is that we do have “leaders”, informally at least, that make decisions like what to air and what activities to organize, etc, etc… all of which in essence are what the media covers and the average citizen and tea partier sees and participates in.
The Post Disgrace and the rest of the STL/KC liberals would much rather have Blunt than Perguson. It’s obvious by their biased coverage during the entire race. Think about it, if they thought Perguson could NOT win they would’ve been using him to split the vote to upset Blunt’s run! They were afraid of Perguson! It was not a win for the Tea Party at all. Blunt was a win for the GOP and the Washington insiders… period! And we all know what the GOP is all about. Republican or 3rd party, blah, blah, blah. If the Tea Party would’ve backed Purguson from the beginning, he would’ve likely won, regardless of his bank account, and we would’ve had a true conservative to face Carnahan. Had Perguson still lost to Blunt, so be it! But, at least we would’ve tried, right? Well “we” DID NOT try! Which is all that was required for RINO Blunt to win! Well thanks a lot St.Louis Tea Party! After all, Blunt has the national and corporate backing as most undesirables do in races all over this country and is why Amendment XVII should be repealed. All the Tea Party had to do to ensure Blunt won was to do nothing. I will reluctantly back Blunt in the damn general elections, but that is not the point. The point is, it’s a disgrace for a conservative state like Missouri to be sending another cash for clunker to Washington! I also think it’s a bunch of hogwash that Tea Parties Organizations DO NOT openly endorse “true conservative” candidates when there is a viable one to back. Only when there is NOT one that CLEARLY meets the “Tea Party Principles”, should the “LOCAL” Tea Party organization(s) remain silent/neutral. Purguson is CLEARLY that candidate and I hope the Tea Party backs him to take McCaskill’s senate seat in 2012!
Thank you and your entire family for your selflessness
God Bless you all !!!!!!!
I am so disheartened that the Tea Party as a whole did not have the courage to back Purgason, a principled conservative that had a chance to make a difference. So it is ‘politics as usual’ and the Tea Party has lost credibility with some as an organization that can make a difference. Although I’m diappointed I will not give up. How does the saying go? ‘All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing’.
We won some and lost some, but one race I was really disappointed in was the race for State Auditor. Schweich won by lies and deceit. I received a call Friday evening from the “NRA,” saying they were endorsing Schweich, and I knew this wasn’t from the NRA, because they had given Brian an exclusive endorsement. I sent this information to Brian and he
emailed me back, saying his orange card said to vote for Allen Icet for State Auditor. I called the NRA Monday morning and said I had gotten a call from someone representing the the NRA, saying they were endorsing Schweich and I knew this wasn’t true. The lady looked at her endorsements and said they were endorsing Allen Icet. My sister told me about calls from politicians saying they were endorsing Schweich, when she knew this wasn’t true. There were also calls saying Allen cheated on his taxes. Her friends voted for Schweich because of the lies and deceit.
Allen was winning before this started, even though dirt bag had a ton of campaign funds from special interests.
Ditto on what Brick said. It is very frustrating because you first have to beat the establishment and then you have to actually beat other candidates. I wish the Republican Party actually stood on their principles instead of the tunnel vision goal of just flat winning with anyone. I get the whole thing where people don’t think Pergason could beat Carnahan but when will it end? We must roll the dice sometime and we should be standing on principle. Once these politicians get some steam built and “scratch enough backs”, it is very difficult to get them out. Blunt is business as usual.
Oh and hopefully the Tea Party will learn from this and endorse true conservative and speak out against RINO’s. I saw this one coming a mile away. Even Conservative talk I listened to are afraid to “put it out there” of who is who. This was a huge election for conservatives and the talk hosts should have been talking records and they wouldn’t do it. I don’t understand that.
One thing I noticed in this election was that when a favorite candidate was accused of obvious lies or distortions of truth, there was no factual source from which to draw in order to counter the lies. We have to be able to get the truth out there because John Q. Public is pretty gullible and will believe the lie if repeated often enough without retuttal.
Actually Purguson had a better chance to beat Carnahan that Blunt does as this poll that was curiously not released until Jul 31st. It does not even say when the poll was conducted and the whole timing to me is suspect.

The problem is this: The St.Louis Tea Party, which has state and national clout DID NOT back Purguson, which was the Tea Party Candidate and I’m worried that it was not entirely by accident, nor did he rarely get serious mention anywhere despite the fact that he was the favorite. In fact, most of what I heard(and everyone) is that Purguson had no chance! That is the SAME OLD message we ALWAYS hear and that discourages people from voting for these good candidates!
